First Program Receives
Program Certification

“Wonderful!” responded Felicia Bannan with the first LERN member program to receive LERN’s new Program Certification. “Thank you so much for the recognition. We will share the news proudly!” she concluded. Bannan is with Schoolcraft in Livonia, Michigan.

The designation is FREE to LERN members. You only have to submit 6 key pieces of data to LERN, and one additional piece of data in years after. Each of the six have 4-5 ranges, so exact numbers are not needed.

“Program Certification is elite, but not elitist,” says William A. Draves, LERN President. “Even small programs can receive the designation.”

The pioneering new designation, based on outcomes, is innovative in design and our #5 Top Highlight of the Year. It is actually more rigorous and exact in ranking programs for improvement than the in/out system of other organizational certification programs.
