Board 50% Female
From the very beginning in 1974, the LERN leadership has been 50% female, including the Board of Directors. And every year since, the leadership has been 50% female. Half of the Chairs of the Board have also been female.
It is a top priority for our leadership. Since 1980s we have also been seeking diversity in ethnicity in our leadership.
The new 50th Anniversary logo design was the idea of Scott Cashman, Chair Elect of the Board of Directors.
