1.Besthoff Sculpture Garden.
A gorgeous outdoor space in City Park adjacent to the New Orleans Museum of Art.
2.The Chapel at St. Roch Cemetery
For something less formal and a bit unsettling, take a trip through the St. Roch Cemetery.
3.Insect Museum
More than 50 live exhibits, plus multimedia events, the largest insect museum in the U.S. is right on Canal Street.
4.Garden District
Historic mansions, lavish gardens, ornate, 19th-century tombs, boutiques and fine-dining restaurants and casual cafes.
5.Best BBQ

The architecture and balconies, from quaint and colorful homes on quiet side streets, to the antique galleries on Royal Street.
