1.Besthoff Sculpture Garden.
A gorgeous outdoor space in City Park adjacent to the New Orleans Museum of Art.
2.The Chapel at St. Roch Cemetery
For something less formal and a bit unsettling, take a trip through the St. Roch Cemetery.
More than 50 live exhibits, plus multimedia events, the largest insect museum in the U.S. is right on Canal Street.
Historic mansions, lavish gardens, ornate, 19th-century tombs, boutiques and fine-dining restaurants and casual cafes.
LERN Inside tip: The Joint, a quick cab ride, with wood smoked oven. Where locals go. Then stroll Crescent Park along the Mighty Miss.
