We are seeking a talented, enthusiastic, and entrepreneurial Director of Community Education. This position is responsible for organizing, implementing, and supervising the Newton Community Education Program which currently produces a program of approximately 1,500 classes, courses and special events each year that responds to community needs and interests. These programs serve the lifetime learning needs and interests of children, adults and senior citizens in the Newton and surrounding communities.

Education, Training and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s degree in Education or Business is highly desired: 5 years of related experience including experience in strategic and organizational planning, supervision, program creation and evaluation, or any equivalent combination of education. training and experience.
