Generational Motivations

1. All the generations in the workplace have fixed date ranges, and everyone born in those ranges has similar behaviors.

2. It is more accurate to describe workers of different ages as belonging to age cohorts rather than generations.

3. Gen X is in their peak earning years and are the most satisfied workers in the workforce today.

4. There are twice as many millennials in the workforce today than there are Gen Xers.

5. Lack of productivity in today’s workforce is a result of entitled millennials who “just don’t want to work” and expect immediate gratification.
