You can’t assume you know what your contract customers need.
Because identifying needs is a process – one that requires thoughtful planning, strategic questioning, and a lot of listening.
In contract or customized training, a needs assessment is a systematic process you undergo with the client to determine and address needs, or gaps between current conditions and desired conditions or wants. The discrepancy between the current condition and wanted condition must be measured to appropriately identify the training need.
In this webinar, you’ll learn how to prepare for a needs assessment, the process to follow, and how to report on your findings.
At the end of the webinar, you’ll be able to develop and fine-tune more effective problem statements, you’ll have new “must-ask” questions, and you’ll understand how to follow the ABC’s of needs assessments.
Your presenter for this webinar is Greg Marsello, LERN’s Senior Vice President for Organizational Development. Marsello works with contract training units across North America to perform their processes and develop needs assessment standards that generate business and drive revenue.
