
BRENDAN MARSELLO
As LERN’s Vice President for Program Development, one of Brendan’s responsibilities is providing LERN Members answers to their toughest questions. With a background in community education programming, marketing and operations, Marsello is a popular presenter and consultant on topics such as brochure design, data analysis, and integrated marketing techniques. Daily he works with LERN Members analyzing their data, critiquing their marketing, and garnering industry trends, opportunities and challenges.
With a Master’s Degree from the University of Rhode Island, he is the foremost trainer in the field of lifelong learning. He trains over 300 professionals a year, preparing them to become a Certified Program Planner (CPP), the leading designation in the field. Traveling around North America, he conducts week long institutes on site, as well as delivering professional development online.
Marsello has mastered target marketing and brochure distribution analysis, helping hundreds of organizations to increase their registrations and, at the same time, trim marketing costs by 20%.
His current research involves identifying new markets for LERN members and also highlighting different residential demographics for specific areas of programming, such as youth summer programs and also classes for older adults.
In addition, he runs UGotClass, which has the best online courses and certificates in online professional development, according to partners who also offer other third-party vendors.
