Your Two ‘Must’ 2014 Resolutions

Fireworks SwipeBrian Banmiller, national business reporter for CBS News Radio, reports a survey of CEOs finds that the top 2014 New Year’s resolution for CEOs is to learn something new this year.
That’s your first ‘Must’ 2014 resolution, to learn something new this year.  You have many options, from technology to leadership skills. And LERN has several brand-new professional development experiences for you this year.
It gets better.  Here’s your second ‘Must’ 2014 resolution: to promote to your audience the findings of the CEO survey and encourage your customers to learn something new this year — from your program of course.
One benefit of you learning something new this year is a dopamine rush.  Brain researchers say that when we learn something new the brain rewards us with a dopamine rush that feels very good.
And then there are the organizational benefits:
1. Increased productivity
2. Keeping up with the latest technology
3. More planning, leadership and visioning perspectives
And in the field of lifelong learning and continuing education, LERN has these brand-new opportunities for 2014:
*New Certified Marketing Professional (CMP) training and designation, premiering at the LERN Institutes in New Orleans, April 7-10, 2014.
*New Certified Professional Programmer (C2P) training and designation, premiering at the LERN Institutes in New Orleans, April 7-10, 2014.
*All-new Executive Leadership Institute on “The Next 5 Years in Continuing Education,” premiering at the Executive Leadership Institutes in Tucson April 23-25, 2014.
