In a recent survey of LERN Members, 25 percent of those who responded said they are considering changing their social media strategy due to the recent data issues surrounding Facebook.
Of the 382 people who responded, 287 or 75 percent said they are not currently thinking about changing their social media strategy.
It was recently revealed that a “quiz app harvested 50 million Facebook profiles for data which were then sent over to Cambridge Analytica, a firm that was caught claiming it handled the digital aspects of President Donald Trump’s 2016 election campaign,” according to a CNBC report.
People were not aware their data was being collected but Facebook claims users had their privacy settings on to allow it.
