Member-Get-A-Member

Enticing rewards highlight a new campaign kicking off this month.
Members get your choice of one of the following:
1.Half price dues for the next two years; OR
2.Free LERN Institute registration, worth $800.

The new member you recruit also gets rewarded for joining LERN.
The new member, or a previous member whose membership expired prior to 2023, also gets a half-price membership for two years.

All LERN members benefit from the increased services from LERN made possible by having more members.

Sign Up Now
To sign up for the member-get-a-member campaign, simply email Jordan Kivley, LERN Membership Coordinator, at jordan@lern.org.  Subject line, and message simply “Member Campaign” or any other message.
Then we will know to reward you when you recruit a member. Jordan will also give you potential members to recruit, although you may recruit any organization eligible.

How to Recruit a New Member
1.Email up to people you know.
Contact people and colleagues you know in other organizations. Tell them why you joined and what benefits you value the most.
   2.Set up a phone call.
If someone responds to your email and is interested, set up a phone call. LERN also has a member benefits flyer that Membership Coordinator Jordan can be sent as an attachment, or in snail mail.
   3.Follow up twice.
You are not bugging or annoying people by sending two follow-up emails over the month following your phone call. You can tell them about another benefit you like, or LERN has.
You should remind them about their bottom line: their program increases its income and registrations by 10%.  LERN has the proof. And income increases by 10% even if they don’t think they use their benefits.

Reward Details
For you. After recruiting a new member, simply renew your own membership for a year at the regular member price. You may wait until your renewal time. Or you can renew earlier. If earlier, we will renew your organization for 12 months after your renewal date.
At the same time, LERN staff will extend your membership another 12 months at no cost. So you get two years at half cost.
For the New Member. The new member will be instructed to join or rejoin LERN for one year at the regular member price. The new member will also have their organizational membership be extended another 12 months at no cost.
Recording your success. Simply let Jordan know when you recruit a new member before or at the same time the new member joins. Or let Jordan know of 1-3 organizations you are recruiting and if any of them join, you will be credited.
Questions? Just as Jordan. Email her at jordan@lern.org or call her at 800-678-5376.
