$1 Million Produced for Program

russ millsAfter working intensively with Pratt Institute, the leading design school in the United States, LERN consultants have helped the continuing education unit add $1 million to the bottom line in just one year.
The huge ROI results to greater profitability show the value of LERN consulting in the field. LERN consulting can help any lifelong learning organization improve registrations, boost income and/or save on costs.
The 1-2-3 process involved starting with a LERN Program Review, following up with regular consulting throughout the year, and also having LERN Senior Consultant Russ Mills serve as Interim Dean of Continuing and Professional Studies for a year, working three days a week at Pratt.
LERN consultants worked on all fronts, including making recommendations on marketing, new programs, and operations.
With his interim leadership, Mills worked with existing continuing education staff. He redesigned staff functions in accordance with the LERN model, led the hiring process for open positions (including the permanent dean), created objectives, analyzed and streamlined procedures, and did training on the LERN model. Mills also represented the Continuing and Professional Studies division and worked with senior administrators at the institution on a regular basis.
Having provided interim leadership for continuing education units at five universities and colleges for LERN, Mills is now available again for another assignment anywhere in North America. To inquire about his services, contact Greg Marsello at marsello@lern.org
