LERN's New CyberStars

CyberStarsThree widely-recognized business people are now contributing their latest ideas about business and technology for LERN.   The will provide their latest thoughts and info on entrepreneurialism and new skills needed for the workplace of the 21st century.  From those reports and thoughts, we will create new cutting-edge courses and certificates for your customers.
It’s all part of the UGotClass plan to continue to develop our Curriculum of the 21st Century for your customers.  Our three CyberStars on the UGotClass Advisory Board:
-Robert Stephens, founder of The Geek Squad and former CTO of Best Buy, San Francisco
-Rhona Berengut, professor at the Schulich School of Business, York University, Toronto
-Peter Day, BBC Global Business reporter, London, England
21st Century Ideas
The three have already contributed their first ideas on 21st century ideas and skills. Here are some of their ideas:

  1. GameStorming, contributed by Rhona Berengut
GameStorming is a concept and tool kit to break down barriers, communicate better, and generate new ideas, insights, and strategies. The book is by Gray, Brown and Macanufo, O’Reilly Media, 2010.
  2. Business Messaging, contributed by Robert Stephens
Sometimes called Conversation Commerce, business messaging is a different way for customers to interact with your organization. One of the fundamental things that smartphones changed about the internet is that the smartphone itself is a social platform. LERN itself already is taking the idea contributed by Stephens and implementing the ability for you to text LERN.
  3. The Second Curve, contributed by Peter Day                              The book is by Charles Handy, who has made a name for himself writing about the Portfolio Career, no more corporate jobs for life, but a career which develops according to the changing habits and aptitudes of the individual.  His new work suggests that just when you’ve got good at something, just before you reach the top of the curve is the time to take stock and launch a new and renewed trajectory.

UGotClass will use these cutting edge ideas to create new online certificates and courses for your program to offer.  LERN members have created monthly registration records for UGotClass for 10 straight months now.
If your program is not yet offering UGotClass, email us at info@lern.org and we can start making money for you.
