Enjoy Springtime in Savannah

With an average daytime high of 71 degrees, and the city’s famous azaleas blooming, enjoy springtime in Savannah.
LERN people rave about the city. Which is why the 2026 Leadership Conference March 2-5, 2026, will be there.

Camellias and azaleas usually start to bloom in late February. The temperature rarely gets below 55.  Bring a light jacket for early morning walks.

The conference hotel is in the heart of the historic district.  You will see horse drawn carriages. Almost every house is a restored 19th century home. Spanish moss drips from the huge trees in the many squares.

Food Fabulous
Of course, the food is fabulous and famous.  Restaurants abound in the Riverwalk right on the Savannah River and throughout the walkable historic district.

Even the inexpensive restaurants have great atmosphere and history. Real pirates dined at the Pirate’s House. Or get your husband’s credit card and eat at Elizabeth’s, named one of the top ten restaurants in America.
