A big shift is underway as businesses shift measuring employee performance from activities to outcomes. Job descriptions are being rewritten in terms of results and objectives rather than just putting in time.
Just filing or answering the phone is not good enough for this century. Instead, a job duty of “providing a customer with a response that satisfies the person” is an outcome that can be measured and also better meets the objectives of the organization.
The change has made “Managing Productivity” a popular online class for LERN, available from many of our 200 members in colleges, universities and schools that are UGotClass Partners.
“I have learnt a lot through this course and I am very grateful for that. Thank you!” UGotClass student Eleni Kourkouta from Rotterdam in the Netherlands (shown in photo) told us last month.
