A number of different online formats are being developed by programs. This is an exciting development for the field.
But institutions currently have no common names and definitions for the different emerging online formats.
As a result, the general public is confused. Programs are also confused.
Summit
A one-hour online summit is being held Thursday, April 30, to develop some common names and definitions for the field for these emerging online formats.
Free and open to anyone, you are invited to join other leaders in helping to create new standards for the field. The time is 2 pm ET; 1 pm CT; Noon MT; and 11 am PT.
Convener
The summit convener is LERN leader Angie Lipschuetz, PhD. Lipschuetz is Associate Dean in the College of Professional & Global Education at San Francisco State University in San Francisco, California.
